Panorama from Drakewalls

The site around the disused mine at Drakewalls has been cleared and is a useful scampering ground. Trees and daffodils have been planted, and broom and gorse kept in control. From a mound amongst the trees this view towards the east can be enjoyed. It ranges from Sheep's Tor round to Staddon Heights, and shows some of the hills that make up the Tamar Valley. Just to the right of centre is the Calstock Parish Church of St Andrew. Within a year or two this view will be obscured by the trees in the foreground.
